_It is the second part of the known lives of HIM and ME. They came down from the mountain together, confirmed lovers at last. They are living in a house at the head of the foothills. It has thatched roofs. There is a fire, burning inexplicably within a ring of stones, in the center of the living room floor. It has been there the whole time. It doesn’t ever go out. Get it?_
_Also, there is a door in back of the kitchen. A three-paned window graces it, with beveled panels below. The whole thing chips of green paint. It is the door to the Dumanstupid house. The first thing they see when they look through the door is their own past, arrayed before them, or as it were, behind. What lies beyond?_
_Maybe we’ll find out._
