082313 #gull 4/16/02 What I need is a multidimensional space for text, rather than a heirarchical system which delineates files and folders. Because a file is basically linear, and it tends to be a stopping point. I don't want those divisions, I don't want those walls. I want it to be like the cirrus and the stratus clouds, and the blue and the breeze, and the breathtaking polyfurcations of the wet, naked tree branches--how it all flows continuously, dramatically, smoothly or suddenly--but always with such Imperfection as is so far unattainable by human artifice!--together! So you would be able to put text anywhere on the computer you wanted, in whatever-sized chunks because it's all really one big chunk, being viewed from various perspectives at various times. User-definable dimensionality.
