i was headed outside by way of a crowded hallway, singing Willie's *In my own peculiar way* but it was too high, clear but a little off. Glenn was suddenly there and I knew he could tell and was slightly amused or bemused but that was pretty much OK. I was so glad to see him and it hurt a little, and I said please don't fade away, please don't fade away. a little bit of tears. I took his face in my hands and said hi baby. smiled. it didn't look exactly like him then, and that was OK sort of I guess too, even though it kind of proved my fear.
