Last night, flying over brooding, nightlit Seattle. On my way back to where Ann was. I had a long way to go. All the way across town. Started out walking, realized I could fly. It wasn't any faster, but it was a lot more enjoyable. Average elevation about 40 feet. Occasional swimming motions with my arms to keep going. Didn't have to keep landing and taking off again, as other times flying. Just flew. Maybe stopped to get a hot dog. Maybe just window shopping. That ruddy, low light was there again. That illumination from within.
