Was in the Hills with CJ. He was lying, almost swaddled, on a large sled-like piece of carboard or board. I was pushing him up a mountain, making noises like a roller coaster ratcheting uphill. Then we started down the other side, and partly because I willed it so, the ride was smooth as if we really were sledding or on wheels. The net elevation drop was not sudden enough and I had to push back up over a rise, feeling slightly guilty, environmentally, about pushing aside large rocks that were in our way. Then the slough-like path we were on ended abruptly at a granite slab. I said, look, theres an alternate slide, and to the right was a very smooth, very steep slough going down. It looked as though it ended in danger somehow, but Im pretty sure we were going to take it anyway.
