I get that it's old news, but it's always refreshing to be reminded that NOTHING MAKES ANY GOD DAMNED SENSE. The reminders that seem to energize the most are the ones that just show us the edge between what we think is making sense and what obviously isn't. (Like Markov-chained texts.) So that we can see in a good-humored way that what we think is making sense isn't any more sensible than what we think isn't. That our so called real world isn't any more or less real than any of the other possible combinations of data. Our idea of the distinction between information and noise may be us-centric. (2015)
