all that people really want is for the story to keep on going we don't want to go to bed we don't want to give in to that blackness that lurks behind the curtain oblivion we want the fire the fireside the stories even if they're-- especially if they're scary-- we just want to know what happens next and to be next to each other when it happens, touching, for one drink of water, for one more page, for one more moment, just one moment more
