There are external keyboard bugs with Ulysses. There are always bugs with Ulysses. They just can’t get it together, ever. They’re one of THOSE devs, like Gus Mueller, that you really wish you could totally buy into and use, but they never quite get the product across the last 5% threshold. And I fucking **knew** I should have waited for the 2.0 on this stupid “Pro.” It’s frankly disappointing. OK here’s the final plan: wait til the two weeks have passed, so there’s no question about whether it would have to go back to Best Buy or not, and if it’s still bothering you, go to Apple Store for warranty service instead. Yeah but it’s eating me up inside, man. I could go to Best Buy right now and try to exchange it—but that’s kind of a crap shoot and would eat up the rest of my afternoon and probably leave me feeling just as skeevy. Then I’d have the whole rest of the day to scrutinize the new one and find out *its* imperfections, and probably end up in exactly the same place as I am right now only another half a day wasted. Jesus fucking Christ what the fuck is wrong with me. 032016.2, 5, **I returned it.** I may very well go back out tomorrow and buy another one, but at least I have a choice now, and I can enjoy that $1000 being in my account as long as I want to, and I’m not going to settle for a sub-par-ass display that looks like it had cigar smoke rubbed into one half of it. I may just keep my Air 2, cuz it has a really nice display. Who the fuck knows. We’ll see. But for right now, I’m on the right side of in- or out-of-control.
