It seems to be getting worse, or at least not much better. She bosses them around just as much if not more. Still says everything is not her fault. Makes snippy and bitter and cynical remarks. Saturday.
Monday.
Her response to conflicts tends to end with "I hate you!!!!!" And/or "everyone hates me!!!!" Still very little middle ground.
"I cleaned up and then I didn't even get to play!" -after being on the wii for like 2 hours. Perspective, lots of exaggeration of the negative. "It will be 5 years until you give me my money." Evidence does not back this up.
Seen some instances of restraint but still frequent stepping in to direct or control the girls. Sometimes just echoing and reinforcing, jumping on what I've said already.
Need to learn/practice how to communicate
--
She told me I always find a way to make it out like its their fault/her fault. That she would tell me more stuff except she just knows I'm going to if not get mad then just do that. She just wants me to sometimes say you're right and give her a hug, and that doesn't happen.
(Except it did tonight.)
Now I want her to learn how to extend that kind of understanding to Millie, and give Millie the benefit of the doubt that the evil glares and stubbornness aren't intentional meanness, any more than the "it's all my fault" and stuff isn't intentional manipulation.
