011207 so tired
012507 You have the height of technological possumbilities in front of your knarly fingures, and as yet you have
Nothing to Say.
What do you have to say about that?
Yeah that’s what I thought.
012507 SO Mom sends this email about an article about carseat safety, closing with, “I’ll keep checking the web site and will let you know when the results have been updated. Have to keep our babies safe! Love, ma/JA.” Then I get an email that Chris replied-to-all, saying, “The Toyota has a luggage rack — that's where the baby will ride, so we don't have to smell the poop.” So I reply-to-all the relatively lame, “You should let yours drive, like we do. That's what air bags are for!!! Plus they're so cute, pushing all the buttons and laughing at the panicking ped-estrians....” Finally, mom sends back the predictable (and endearingly pictureable), “You are both s-o-o-o funny.” The upshot of all this is: I still think this whole baby-having thing is going to be a major change for CJ (obviously) but also for the relationships among him and all of us, his family (thankfully!). That his uncharacteristically immediate email reply was couched in characteristic irony just proves how excited and childlike he is about the new development!
UPDATE: CJ adds: “Our baby will be too drunk to drive.”
It goes on from there.
