There’s got to be a word for the astonishing + funny + cute + precocious + unexpected + dramatic + heartwarming things the girls do, but whatever the word is, the best example i’ve seen in a while was millie tonight: trying to listen to her favorite song (“keep your hat on jenny” Sandy & Doc Song!!!) while Ann was messing around with the new iPod, accidentally cutting the song off: millie held her hand out in an arresting gesture, said, “Don’t push any more buttons, mama!” 121606 I haven’t done this, that is, talk about myself, for a while, so I’m going to indulge now, just for a second: I actually have written some pretty nice little things.
