## File Aug 04, 14 47 47 # CROW This quote from some medium article about why it's hard to write about bisexuality is a good example: > A bisexual person can live a monogamous life with an opposite-sex (or same-sex) partner and, if they have a partner who is aware and accepting of that fact, be more or less happy in that state of affairs — even if nobody else knows about it other than perhaps your Internet providers. It's cool because it doesn't come right out and say directly that you're looking at porn because you're missing something in your current relationship. You figure that out quickly, and the act of letting your brain do that makes you smile. This elliptical revelation, this use of the cones vs the rods (or is it the other way around?), is a major part of entertaining writing. Like how the Pleiades looks like a blur when you stare straight at it, but comes into pointy focus when you deliberately look off to the side. Is there a way to work this into an exercise or assignment of some kind.
